to be placed in before the service begins.

A Warwick Psalm

1 I was delighted when my friends said “Let’s go to church today!”.
2 How good it is to worship here, in this beautiful place.
3 Warwick is a historic town
and in the centre are many churches.
4 That is where all different denominations gather
to praise the name of the Lord,
according to God’s commandments.
5 That is where we all seek to be honest
about our shortcomings before God.
6 Pray for our town to thrive:
“May all celebrate Warwick’s uniqueness!
7 May there be justice within our town
and love and security within our homes.”
8 For the sake of all who live and work here
I will say, “Peace be with you.”
9 As I worship God in my daily life,
I will pray for you.
